Tangy Homemade BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

1 cup ketchup

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup bourbon

4 Tbsp packed brown sugar

2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbsp molasses

1 tsp ground mustard

1 tsp onion powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan

  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat

  3. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally

  4. Enjoy!

Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
